Maybe too satisfying so I didnt feel that I have anything special to say... maybe next time.
So I will skip this boring part of my life... I have a question anyways.. When I will finally grow up? I was questionning myself what i want to become when i grow up but I realized that I maybe never grow up so that whole question doesnt have sense then... what do you think?

Request

I am thinking on going back to London in summer (And it is a good time to start thinking about summer)... So... I have no idea whether this could work or not but I would really like to work in a church and get some experience. As an intern or anything. I just need few pounds to survive and thats all. SO GOOD. I have soooo many notes from the weekend from sermons and seminars that I cant believe it.
On saturday I got to the conference I mentioned in the last post. It was totally awesome. They mentioned probably all the aspects of worship.: practical teachings and also very important deep theology in a simple way. I was amazed. The only thing that I didnt like was that during the whole day I talked only to the registration girl and some guy who asked me on a street where is the closest tube station. Honestly, thats pretty sad. I guess thats very cultural.
On sunday I went to 3 churches! Really!! In the morning I went to Kensington Temple and to Holy Trinity Brompton. Kensington was very good. A black gospel church. It was alot smaller that what I'd expected. I expected a crowd like in the Hillsong church - I dont know why I thought that... and it was actually a church of 500 maybe.
The Holy Trinity was my favourite, even though it was the church in what nobody talked to me... What I really liked about that church is the fact that it is in an old gothic church-building. The worship was amazing and the sound was awesome. You could hear everybody and it was like a big choir.
In the evening I went to the Hillsong church. The fact that I knew the worship songs really made it easier to worship.
This weekend was just incredible. awesome. it was like my own small rejuvenate weekend conference. I really needed it.
Thanks God He made it possible.
I will post some sermon notes on this blog soon when i type them down.

NOTES:
from saturday morning service @ the conference: http://www.aboutlife.com/system/files?file=In%20Spirit%20And%20Truth.pdf

Mind the gap!

A spontaneous and impulsive idea to travel got me to a very big city called London. I am not really sure how I got here because it was too fast for me to realize. My brother and I decided on monday so i am still in a shock.
At first I got a little disappointed because I didnt understand the first british person I met. I am still getting used to after a day and I really have some troubles understanding but I think that it will get better very quickly... hopefully.
Today, I went to the Hillsong youth meeting. Its called wildlife (my youth group at home is called widelife so they think that they are connected somehow...). It was very different than what I'd expected I expected more people and a huge worship service. It was completely different. In the beginning they just chilled out and they didnt do anything. They just talked for an hour or longer. It was a bit boring for me because I didnt know anybody and nobody looked like that they would want to know me. After that started the 'real meeeting'. They had some competitions and after that a married couple talked about marriage, relationships and purity. Actually, it was very good. It was very honest and they talked a lot about themselves, how they go through different stuff and solve problems. I think that the most important thing they said was "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." (Matthew 5;8, NIV) If you guard your heart and keep it pure God will let you to know Him. You will know his plan and purposes and you will not have to worry about your husband/wife.
And I add to it: No matter what you've done or I've done. The past is not important. Important is what you'll do with it. Your heart is pure in my eyes if it is pure in God's eyes. Mind the gap! Do not compromise your purity.

I have so much to learn.

PS: I really want to go to a worship conference with Tim Hughes and Matt Redman tomorrow but I am afraid that it will be sold out when I come. You can pray for it.

pictures from b-day party

A surprise party & some thoughts

I just came home from my first own real and awesome surprise b-day party. I cant believe that my sis and her husband made me a surprise party. It was awesome. they told me that we are going to a cinema together but we ended up with a bunch of my friends and we played games and had fun. I still cant believe that. Thanks God for friends. Its a blessing.

And another thing that happened to me. In the college I have to do a sport so I picked up canoe... So every thursday I go to the school dock and I sail. Its pretty cool... And canoes are for 2 people so there was another guy with me in the canoe. We talked and I found out that he studies two schools at once: Physics and Philosophy... a crazy man... And I told him that I was at a bible college last year. So we started talking about God and christianity. He really knew what is he talking about. I am pretty sure that he has this type of conversation pretty often and he is searching for God. And he asked me a question. I really didnt want to get this question at this time. However. Thanks God for it because it made me think again. The question was: What is your reason to believe? What is your reason to be a Christian? And at first I really didnt have the answer right away. Honestly. I really didnt know and I was afraid that he is right-that I have no reason.
Suddenly, the ethernal life wasnt important... It wasnt my reason It was too far. too unreal. The fact that Jesus died for me was not my reason either. I cant even imagine that. But, why do I believe then? Do I really believe because my mom told me to? Because I feel that it is right? Not really.
This question really got me. I was speechless. But... Then I got it. After the class we had a worship practice. I couldnt worship with this question in my head. So I just started writing notes. Short prayers to that God I havent met in soo long. I started writing names. I didnt know why. Names of the people who I really care for but who dont know Jesus. And then He touched me. Suddenly I realized that the reason to believe is that He gives me a reason to live. He is the only person who can give me the reason to live. And the reason is the other people. He wants to meet them. And he wants to use me. And the names I wrote down are my reasons to live, and they are my reasons to believe. All the people I meet on the street are my reasons. Jesus gave me the reason.
Not that I didnt know this... But sometimes you need to realize some thruths again and again... So I hope that this will encourage you. God bless you all

Welcome to my blog!

Hello. I finally managed to write a blog because I realized that I started loosing my english so I have to practice... And... Of course so i can keep in touch with all the friends, especially those from Canada. I love you all and I miss you extremely much.
After returning home from Canada I had a hard time getting used to home. I totally got a culture shock. Everything is so different than in Canada. People, food, relationships...people even hug differently here. However, I got used to and now I am okay.
And what happened to me so far? At first, I became an aunt of an awesome little boy. He is so adorable. He will turn 3months very soon :D He was only 10days old on the picture!
After becoming an auntie I also became one of the youth leaders in my church. It is pretty awesome. I actually preached one time on a youth camp! It was about plugging-in to Jesus and ministry. The youth camp was pretty awesome. It was in one of the most beautiful parts of Slovakia and there were around 80 of us.
After summer I started a university here in Bratislava. I study computers. My department is called "Applied IT". There is about 10 girls and a 100 guys in the class. It is actually more scary than fun. The class is divided into groups of 25 and I am actually the only girl in my group.
I am also working on my drivers license. I have the exams on 15th of november so I hope that i'll get it right away on the first time. I also tutor English... I think its funny because the guy has a bigger vocab than me. He knows much more about grammar... At least I can talk more fluently than him... And also I am getting money for it... :D
So... this is enough for the first blog... I will try to write if anything happens in my life and i will also post some pictures. I miss you all sooo much.

PS: Please write me a comment so i know that someone will read this blog... and also that you still understand me... :D and correct my mistakes... thank you... love you all!!!
